

January 2009: The PCBA 5010-4 multi-channel Windows interface USB battery analyzer system is now available.
June 2009: Work is mostly complete for meeting CE certification requirements for the 5010-4 battery analyzer which incorporates worldwide AC input and power factor correction. Some changes have been made to the current version of hardware to reduce switching noise from entering the AC power line.
September 2009: Work is progressing on a Microsoft Windows Data Base Manager program named DBManager.exe that can sort through and present battery test records stored in the TestData.mdb Access data base file maintained by the PCBA 5010-4 battery analyzer.
October 2009: Launch of the Battery Blog website owned and operated by Energy Storage Instruments Inc., covering current state of the art in battery news, views, and education.
December 2009: CE certified PCBA 5010-4 battery analyzer units are now available.
June 2010: Warranty on the PCBA 5010-4 battery analyzer has been increased to 3 years, retro-acitve for existing customers. Confidence in the PCBA 5010-4 battery analyzer's reliablity is high and ESI will be happy to repair any unit at no cost to customers for up to three years from date of purchase so long as customers are willing to pay all shipping cost.
