Features

  • 200 Watts of battery analyzer power delivered through four independent channels by the click of a mouse on your Windows PC
  • 400 Watts maximum power capability in teeter-todder fashion when 200 Watts charge while 200 Watts discharge simultaneously
  • Version 2 hardware has improved channel charge/discharge current control accuracy, calibration and temperature compensation and CE certification
  • Lifetime warranty. If it breaks for some unknown reason, we fix it for free
  • Channels eliminate need for four wire Kelvin connection voltage measurement through use of firmware calculation and calibration setting. Calibration setting can be user adjusted depending on length of test leads being used to compensate for I*R voltage drop.
  • Unique data record format for standardized battery testing with data points recorded every 0.5% rated capacity. (200 points = 100%)
  • Effective recondition function for NiCd, NiMH and now SLA or deep cycle lead acid batteries as of February 2015. Channel firmware version 2.07, PCBA.exe version 1.57.
  • Full speed USB 2.0 interface that supports more than 100 battery analyzers and over 400 channels simultaneously
  • Microsoft Windows interface with integrated Access database support for battery management, analyzer configuration and test results
  • Graphical charting of data with zoom and pan features for easy viewing of test results and identifying battery performance and problems
  • Services all rechargeable battery chemistries up to 36 Volts and up to 200 Amp hour in size, up to +/-10,000 milli-Amps/Channel

Additional Features

  • Each channel has internal non-volatile memory for saving test results of 64 service records
  • Analyzer can run independent of PC/USB connection for up to 64 records, after which USB uploading is required to free up memory before proceeding
  • Data point recording of voltage, current and temperature at every 0.5% rated capacity increment for up to 224 points or 112% maximum
  • Battery test data is automatically downloaded and organized into Access database filing system according to each battery unique serial number
  • Smart battery SMBus read capability on each channel
  • High speed data logging and pulse discharge loading to simulate variable loads on battery performance
  • Each channel provides for voltmeter gain calibration as a function of current to accommodate long test lead connections
  • Each channel provides for entry of nominal thermistor resistance values from 1-100k and associated polynomial factors A, B, C, D
  • Switch-mode power supply technology converts power from channels on discharge into power used for channels on charge
  • World wide AC input power factor corrected power supply operates from 90 – 260 VAC
  • Service records are time stamped with start date, start time, and elapsed time of service
  • Internal real time clock keeps time when PC is unavailable
  • Test records can be saved as text files and imported into Excel or other spreadsheet software for custom presentation and reporting

Battery Analyzer Cycler Tester Functions:

  • Charge – Charges the battery
  • Discharge – Discharges the battery
  • Life Cycle – Performs repeated discharge-charge cycles according to user defined settings for both charge and discharge operations. Number of cycles selection range is 1-10,000 or can end by ‘Discharge Capacity Limit’ ‘Fade To Target’ settings.
  • Ohm Test – Charges and then discharges the battery while recording the voltage and internal resistance in milli-Ohms at every 0.5% rated capacity
  • Prime – New batteries and batteries from storage are cycled to achieve normal function
  • Quick Test – Determines the approximate condition of a battery within 10-60 minutes, maximum 2 hours
  • Recondition – A deep discharge, followed by a charge and overcharge cell balancing initiative is applied to revive nickel cadmium, nickel metal hydride and lead acid type batteries. A very slow rate overcharge has been added for lead acid types as of February 2015 – PCBA.exe software version 1.57 – channel hardware.firmware version 2.07.
  • Reactivate – Resets smart batteries to start working again
  • Test DC – Battery is Discharged, Charged
